Redesi Himeros (Desire / Himeros: a son of Aphrodite and Ares. Wields bow and arrow to create desire and lust in people. A god of unrequited love.)
Redesi is the personification (and arachnification) of my romantic feelings inspired by polyamory aspects. She causes the possessed to fall in love easily with others.
Personality // Redesi is natural flirt but always respectful. She’s manipulative but always for what she believes to be beneficial ends for herself and Jade, even if Jade blatantly disagrees with her. Redesi is quite stubborn about her beliefs that people should love freely whoever and as many people as they’d like.
The haunting // Redesi and her swarms of summoned spiders have been haunting Jade for as long as Jade can remember, forcing her to grow accustomed to the creepy crawlies.
The pact // The pact was made when Jade was very young and mostly did not acknowledge the gravity of the pact’s implications.
Powers gained: Jade weaves and shoots spiderwebs from her finger tips. Her teeth are sharper and her bite is venomous.
Drawbacks: Her heart easily connects itself to other people she feels for through invisible heart strings. The further she is from those people the more it pulls at those strings and the heartache increases. The strings can snap depending on distance, thickness and situation.
Jade Morals (Yeidi Morales)
Jade represents the counterpart of what Redesi is: my insecurities, the fears of what would happen if I were to embrace my desires and accept who I am and what I feel, the fears of failing the perception others have of me.
Personality // She’s sweet and caring (to a fault in this case). Jade is afraid of what other people think of her and she’s dubious of nearly every choice she makes on her own. She needs constant reassuring and support to feel competent.
Jade is uneasy with meeting new people to try to avoid establishing new connections. When this does happen, she’s very affectionate and tries to please the recipients as much as she can.
As soon as she reached puberty, her discomfort with Redesi grew because she feels it’s a manifestation of the desires she’s so keen on burying deep inside.
